GATC now analyzes single-sample and high volume samples with our Applied Biosystems 3730xl DNA Analyzer. This 96- capillary instrument reduces the time, cost, and complexity of large-scale sequencing projects with an increase in read length and improved capillary-to-capillary reliability. We consistently produce over 800 base pairs of high quality Phred scores and an average of 95% success (500+bp) on control samples.
The cost of high volume sequencing is on a per-plate basis, regardless of the number of templates on the plate. However, if you are sequencing more than 26 templates you will realize a savings over the single sample service.
